Dal and Rice
I am learning to inform my audience by sharing and an entertaining moment
Eww! What is that smell. I quickly closed my door and ran to my bed like something was chasing me and crashed under my pillow hiding from the smell. The smell couldn’t get any worse. “Dinner time,” never mind it just did, obviously I was going to have to eat it! As I arrived at the table my uncle was by the table waiting.
Sitting up at the chair at the table trying to hold my breath. My aunty took my plate and told me she made dalh and rice, “WHAT!” I said. Out of all the foods she had to make this. Then the Rice was added.
I took my spoon of the dahl with rice and it dripped in slow-motion on to the plate while the spoon made its way closer and closer to my mouth the smell got stronger and stronger. “Don’t eat it, don’t eat it,” I said to myself.
My eyes started watering and I was screaming in my mind. It looked chunky and purple and with some black stuff poking out. Yuck! I put the most disgusting food in my mouth just like that I gulped it down. Chewing the un-flavoured dal chunky pieces was like chewing mushy worms.
That was it. If I see a dal and rice I would do run for my life.

Up We Go
Beep! Beep! Beep! I was up in the air going up and up.
“Don’t look down, don’t look down!” I said to myself. We were in a Skyline Gondola ride. My family and I were all having so much fun (after we got used to the up and down feeling). Under us there were so many trees and a beautiful view. It was stunning. Oh, my gosh, I forgot to mention there were also deer's under us, even a baby one. Awww!
